UPS Brown - 400ml
Description
✨ UPS Brown - 400ml is one of our most requested colours, and for good reason: consistent batch-to-batch matching means the bottle you buy today sprays exactly like the one your build needs next time.
UPS Brown reproduces a solid factory tone frequently seen on real vehicles and equipment. Solid colours are formulated for maximum, even opacity in fewer coats than metallics or candies, making them a dependable starting point for painting a full model body or a large flat surface.
UPS Brown is an aerosol spray paint that is supplied ready-to-use in a pressurised can, formulated for even coverage across larger surfaces. It suits 1:8, 1:10 and 1:12 R/C bodies and larger static models, as well as full-size hobby and DIY respray work where a fine airbrush cartridge would run out too quickly.
💡 Laboratory Application Tips
- Preparation (Primer): A Black or Grey Primer works best under this dark tone, reinforcing depth and helping the colour reach full density in fewer coats.
- Painting Technique: Shake the can thoroughly for at least a minute, then spray in light, even passes from roughly 20-30cm, keeping the can moving to avoid pooling. Several thin coats give better coverage and a smoother finish than one heavy pass.
- Finishing: Allow full curing time between coats and before clearcoating; aerosol lacquers can stay workable for longer than airbrushed paint, so patience at this stage avoids solvent wrinkling later.
⚠️ Chromatic Fidelity Notes
Real Scale vs. Miniature: This formula is adjusted to counter the "scale effect," so light reflection on the miniature stays proportional to the real vehicle or object rather than looking artificially pale or dark.
Visual note: Product photos are for reference only. The full three-dimensional depth and true pigment brilliance only become visible once the model is painted and properly clearcoated.
