1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What data we use, why, and on what legal basis

Orders and invoices: name, email, phone, delivery and invoicing address, tax number, order history and payment status. Used to process, ship and support your order and to issue invoices. Legal basis: performance of the contract and legal (tax) obligations.
Customer account (optional): login details and saved addresses. Legal basis: contract.
Customer support: messages by email, WhatsApp or social media. Legal basis: contract and our legitimate interest in answering you.
Newsletter and welcome discount: email and language, only if you subscribe. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the unsubscribe link.
"Show your build" programme: email, order number, the photo you send and the author name you choose. Used to issue your discount code and, with your consent, to publish the photo with your credit. Legal basis: consent.
Points programme: email, orders, language and country, points balance and vouchers issued. Used to credit points, issue vouchers and email you your balance (see the programme rules). Legal basis: performance of the programme terms and our legitimate interest in rewarding our customers.
Fraud prevention and security: IP address and technical data. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Statistics and advertising: cookies and similar technologies, only with your consent (see section 7).

We do not sell your data. We never receive or store your full card details.

3. Who we share data with

Only with service providers that process data on our behalf, or where the law requires it:

Online shop: Jumpseller (Jumpseller Lda., Portugal; hosting on Amazon Web Services).
Payments: Stripe, Jumpseller Payments, PayPal, Klarna, the Multibanco and MB WAY payment provider (Eupago) and our bank.
Delivery: DPD/SEUR and CTT (name, address, phone, email).
Email, forms and file storage: Google (Google Workspace, Apps Script, Drive, Sheets), used for the welcome discount, the photo programme and our email.
Statistics and advertising: Google (Analytics, Ads, Tag Manager) and Meta (Facebook/Instagram Pixel), only with consent.
Messaging: Meta (WhatsApp Business, including an automatic assistant that answers in your language).
Accounting and authorities: our certified accountant and the Portuguese Tax Authority (AT).

4. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers (e.g. Google, Meta, PayPal, Stripe) may process data in the United States or other countries. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

5. How long we keep data

Invoices and accounting records: 10 years, as required by tax law.
Customer and order data: the shop deletes customers with no orders in the last 36 months.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Published photos: until you ask us to remove them.
Points balance: while the programme runs and you remain a customer; you can ask us to delete it at any time.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to geral@firescalemodeler.com; we reply within one month. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD (www.cnpd.pt).

7. Cookies

When you first visit the site, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all of them, or choose by category. You can change your choice at any time with "Manage preferences" in the banner (or by clearing the cookies in your browser).

Necessary (always active): shopping cart and session, your cookie choice ("cookie-consent"), language (fsm_lang), security and checkout.
Performance and analytics: Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years) and the shop platform's visit statistics (_pk_*, up to 13 months).
Personalisation: recently viewed products, filter index and welcome-offer status, stored in your browser (fsmRecent, fsmCatalog, fsmWelcome).
Marketing: Google Ads (_gcl_au, 3 months) and Meta Pixel (_fbp, 3 months), to measure campaigns and show relevant ads.

Analytics and marketing tools only run after you accept them.

8. Minors

Our shop is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
