1. Seller

2. Scope
These terms apply to all orders placed on this website. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted them. The version in force on the date of your order applies. They are available in Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, German and Italian.
3. Products
We sell scale-modelling paints (including our Koloi Aqua water-based range), primers, varnishes and auxiliaries, airbrushes and equipment, tools, and model kits, figures and dioramas, including products of our own design. Paints and chemicals are not toys and are intended for adults. Read the label and safety data sheet before use.
Product images are illustrative. Screen calibration can make colours look slightly different from the real paint. Always test a colour before using it on a finished model.
4. Customer
To buy you must be at least 18 years old. You can buy as a guest or with a customer account. Please make sure that your contact, delivery and invoicing details are correct.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are in euros and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are added at checkout. Accepted payment methods are described on our Payment Methods page. The order is processed after payment is confirmed. If a product turns out to be unavailable after payment, we contact you to offer an alternative or a full refund.
6. Contract
The contract is concluded when you receive our order confirmation email. Please keep it: it summarises your order and these terms.
7. Delivery
Carriers, costs, delivery times and the restrictions for flammable goods are described in our Shipping Policy. Duties and taxes for destinations outside the EU are paid by the customer.
8. Pre-orders and custom products
Pre-orders follow our Pre-Order Policy. Custom colours (FSM000) and colours matched to your request are made to order and cannot be cancelled once production has started.
9. Right of withdrawal
Consumers may withdraw within 14 days of delivery, under the conditions and exceptions set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
10. Legal guarantee
New products have a 3-year legal guarantee of conformity (Decree-Law 84/2021). See our Warranty page.
11. Correct use and liability
Use the products as described on the label and in the technical information: work in a ventilated area, use suitable protection, and test compatibility on a spare part before applying to your model. We are not responsible for damage caused by use contrary to these instructions, by mixing with incompatible products, or by improper storage. This does not limit your legal rights as a consumer, nor our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
12. Intellectual property
The Fire Scale Modeler and Koloi brands, the website content, and the designs of our kits, figures and dioramas are protected. They may not be copied, reproduced or sold without our written permission.

14. Complaints and dispute resolution
Contact us first at geral@firescalemodeler.com. You can also use the electronic complaints book (Livro de Reclamações).
In case of a dispute, consumers may use an alternative dispute resolution entity: CNIACC – Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (www.cniacc.pt). The full list of entities is published at www.consumidor.gov.pt. Consumers in another EU country can get free help from the European Consumer Centre in their country.
15. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence.
16. Changes
We may update these terms. Changes do not apply to orders already placed.
