Why use Black 2K as a base? - Maximum Reflection: The 2K chemistry creates a glass-like surface that makes chromes look like real metal. - Color Depth: Enhances the shift in Chameleon paints, making transitions more vibrant. - Durability: Unlike 1K bases, it won't react or "sink" when you apply heavy clearcoats later. - 30ml Standard Size - Optimized for 1/24 - 60ml Value Pack - Great for 1/12 or 1/8 - 120ml Giant Scale (1/12, 1/8) Optimized
Instruktioner:
- Application: Spray until you achieve a perfectly smooth, wet-look finish. - Curing: Wait 24h for a full cure before applying chrome or chameleon to ensure surface stability. - Pro Tip: Do not sand the black base if applying chrome; the reflection depends on the direct smoothness of the paint. Preparation: Ensure your airbrush is clean and the surface is degreased. Mixing Ratio: Combine Paint/Varnish and Hardener. Always check the specific mixing ratio printed on the product label, as proportions may vary. Mix thoroughly for 1 minute. Dilution: If needed for better flow, add 5-10% of 2K Clearcoat Thinner. Application: Spray at 1.8 to 2.2 bar. Apply a light mist coat, followed by a full wet coat after 5-10 minutes. Cleaning: Urgent! Clean your airbrush immediately with Cleaner Strong.
