CLEAR PRIMER 400ml

Clear Primer (Adherent for Plastics) is an essential transparent solution to ensure maximum paint adhesion to plastic parts in model kits. Developed to act directly on the polymer structure, this transparent primer creates an invisible and ultra-resistant chemical bond without altering the original texture or filling in the details engraved in even the most demanding molds.
Formulated with high-tech resins and extremely fast drying, it has excellent elasticity to prevent peeling or cracking. With viscosity and transparent micro-pigmentation fully calibrated for scales 1:35, 1:43, 1:24, 1:18, 1:10 and 1:4, it guarantees a uniform, thin and transparent layer. It is the ideal product to prepare sensitive plastic parts before painting, ready to apply directly in a spray can, avoiding the accumulating effect of conventional primers.
💡 Lab Application Tips
Preparation (Primer): No prior primer required. This product is the primary direct adhesion base for plastics (ABS, PS, Lexan and conventional kit polymers). Apply directly to the clean and degreased surface.
Painting Technique: Shake the packaging well before use (minimum 2 minutes). Apply a single light, cross coat (1-2 µm thin thickness) at a distance of 15–20 cm. Avoid soaking the piece.
Finish: Complete drying in around 10 minutes (at 20°C). Allows direct repainting with any type of paint or finishing device (Lacquer, Acrylic or Spray) without the need for prior sanding.

Full Scale vs. Miniature: As a transparent product, Clear Primer fully preserves the original details of the piece, ensuring that subsequent layers of paint lay smoothly and without loss of geometric definition on the scale of the model.
Visual note: This is a transparent layer that promotes adhesion. The final appearance of the model will depend exclusively on the color of the finishing paint and varnish applied subsequently.
