Rules for the "Fire Scale Modeler Model of the Month" Contest

1. Contest Objective

The monthly "Fire Scale Model of the Month" contest aims to recognize, highlight, and reward the best modeling projects created using Fire Scale Modeler products, encouraging creativity, technical excellence, and the effective use of our products among modelers.

2. Participation Requirements

• Who can participate:
  Any modeler, from any country, who uses Fire Scale Modeler products in their submitted project, except the brand’s official ambassadors (see details below).
• Ambassadors excluded from participation:
  The contest is not open to Fire Scale Modeler brand ambassadors for the following reasons:
  • Ambassadors already enjoy exclusive benefits, such as permanent discounts and other advantages not available to regular customers.
  • To ensure fairness and balance among all participants, ambassadors cannot accumulate additional benefits.
  This policy guarantees a fair competition and fosters an equal opportunity environment for all modelers.
• Ambassadors as judges:
  Fire Scale Modeler ambassadors will serve as the official judges of the contest, participating in the evaluation and selection of winners.
  • The judges will evaluate the submitted models based on criteria such as quality, creativity, use of Fire Scale Modeler products, and overall presentation.
  • Their involvement ensures a specialized, fair, and brand-aligned assessment.
• Eligible models:
  Finished models from any modeling category or theme are eligible, whether static, slot cars, R/C, or others.

3. Technical Requirements - Mandatory Products

• The submitted model must be fully painted exclusively with Fire Scale Modeler products, including:
  • Paints: Solid colors, metallics, fluorescents, or any other options available in the Fire Scale range.
  • Varnishes: Gloss, matte, satin, or other finishes from Fire Scale Modeler.
  • Primers and complementary accessories: Including thinners, additives, or other Fire Scale Modeler products.
• Exclusions:
  • Models using paints or varnishes from other brands will be disqualified.
  • Accessories such as brushes or airbrushes from other brands are allowed, but the painting and final finish must be done exclusively with Fire Scale Modeler products.

4. How to Enter

• Participation process:
  1. Submit up to 5 high-quality photos of the model, showcasing different angles.
  2. Include a project description with:
     • The name of the model.
     • Fire Scale Modeler products used.
     • A brief explanation of the techniques applied.
• Submission period:
  Submissions open on the 1st and close on the 20th of each month.
• Where to submit:
  Send your entry to geral@firescalemodeler.com or via the brand’s official WhatsApp.

5. Evaluation Criteria

The models will be evaluated by the Fire Scale Modeler Ambassador Team, based on the following criteria:

1. Painting quality:
   • Finish, uniformity, details, and realism.
2. Creativity:
   • Original use of colors, innovative techniques, and artistic approach.
3. Use of Fire Scale Modeler products:
   • Proper application and visual impact of Fire Scale paints, varnishes, or accessories.
4. Presentation:
   • Quality of the submitted photos and clarity of the project description.

6. Prizes

• Monthly winner:
  • A 20% discount coupon for use in the Fire Scale Modeler online store.
  • Special recognition on the brand’s social media and website.
  • Automatic entry into the "Fire Scale Model of the Year" contest.
• Annual winner:
  • Featured as the cover model in the official Fire Scale Modeler calendar.
  • Special prize:
    • An exclusive Alpha Model kit or free shipping for 3 months in the online store.

7. Terms and Conditions

• Usage rights:
  By entering, participants grant Fire Scale Modeler the right to use submitted images for:
  • Promotions on social media and the official website.
  • Advertising in digital or print campaigns.
  • Inclusion in the official Fire Scale Modeler calendar.
• Disqualification:
  • Entries that do not use Fire Scale Modeler products.
  • Models that are incomplete or do not meet the stated rules.
• Ambassador exclusion:
  Brand ambassadors are not allowed to participate in the contest due to the exclusive benefits they already receive, ensuring a fair competition for all participants.
• Final decision:
  The decision of the judging team is final and cannot be contested.
