Terms and Conditions for Fire Scale Modeler Technical Assistance Service
1. Scope and Definitions
These terms regulate the airbrush maintenance and repair service provided by Fire Scale Modeler (FSM) at our studio in Torres Vedras, Portugal.
General Customer: A customer who purchased the equipment from another retailer.
VIP Customer (FSM): A customer who purchased the airbrush being repaired directly from the firescalemodeler.com online store (proof via order number or account history required).
2. Supported Brands
We accept equipment from the following brands: Harder & Steenbeck, Iwata, Badger, Gaahleri and GSI Creos (Mr. Hobby). Other brands are subject to prior consultation and may be declined if spare parts are not readily available on the market.

*Note: The €15 fee for General Customers is payable upon entry. If the customer accepts the repair quote, this amount is deducted from the final total. If the repair is declined, this value covers the technical assessment time.

5. "Renew or Repair" Program (Trade-In)
If the repair quote exceeds 50% of the value of a new unit, or if the airbrush is deemed "beyond economic repair":
FSM offers the option to keep the old airbrush for parts/recycling.
In exchange, the customer receives a 15% Discount Voucher immediately applicable to the purchase of a new airbrush in our store.
6. Warranties
FSM guarantees the labor and the replaced parts for a period of 6 months.
The warranty excludes: damage caused by drops/impacts, use of inappropriate corrosive thinners, or incorrect cleaning performed by the user after delivery.
7. Deadlines and Abandonment
The quote will be sent within 3 business days after reception.
Equipment unclaimed or with pending payments for more than 90 days will be considered abandoned and will revert to FSM to cover storage and administrative costs.
