Description
Reddish Beige: a warm, earthy neutral
Reddish Beige is a soft, warm beige with a gentle red undertone, defined in the NCS colour system used by architects and designers. It is the kind of neutral colour found on buildings, interior panels, civil equipment and older vehicle interiors, where a warm tone feels more natural than grey. For modelers it is a handy shade for dioramas and building walls, dashboard and door-panel details, tan interiors and period fittings, and it can also serve as a base for sandy or dusty weathering effects.
Getting the tone right
Earthy browns and beiges can look muddy when sprayed thick. Light, even coats keep the tone clean and let panel lines and detail stay sharp.
How to apply
- Shake the bottle for at least 60 seconds.
- Prime with a grey primer and let it dry fully.
- Airbrush straight from the bottle, no thinning needed. Use a 0.2–0.4 mm nozzle at around 20 PSI (1.4 bar) and apply light, cross-hatched coats, letting each one flash off before the next.
- Let the paint cure overnight before masking or clear-coating.
- Seal with a water-based clear coat: gloss for a factory shine, or satin or matte for work vehicles and interiors.
- Clean the airbrush with water before the paint dries.

Shelf life
Estimated shelf life of more than 12 months when stored tightly closed between +10 °C and +28 °C, away from frost and direct sunlight. Shake well before use; if the paint has thickened or separated and does not remix, do not use it.
