Description
Clear Gloss: the factory shine, ready to polish
The final coat that turns paint into bodywork. Clear Gloss levels into a smooth, deep wet-look layer over Koloi Aqua colours, brings out the depth of metallics, pearls and candies, and can be polished once fully cured for a mirror finish.
Why clear coat
The clear coat protects the colour from handling and fingerprints, seals decals so their edges disappear, and sets the final sheen of the model. Koloi Aqua Clear is the last step of the Koloi Aqua system: primer, colour and clear designed to work together.
How to apply
- Let the colour coat and any decals cure overnight.
- Shake the bottle for at least 60 seconds.
- Airbrush straight from the bottle at around 20 PSI (1.4 bar): one light mist coat first, then wet coats until the surface flows out glossy.
- Let the clear cure fully before handling, masking or polishing.
- Clean the airbrush with water before the clear dries.

Shelf life
Estimated shelf life of more than 12 months when stored tightly closed between +10 °C and +28 °C, away from frost and direct sunlight. Shake well before use; if the clear has thickened or separated and does not remix, do not use it.
